Original paint was a two part process using Sherwin-Williams Polane T polyurethane enamel.

Gunsmiths use that Sherwin-williams product. Last time I saw a price, it was $90 for a gallon of paint and $125 for the catalyst (2-part product, minimum order one gallon). There was a special reducer, but didn’t ask about its price.
